Phantom

wow it has been awhile

Ok I know it has been along time since I updated this blog, I apologize. I have been really busy work has been crazy, I love working 2 jobs. LMOA, I get home at 12:30 in the morning and than I take a bath, and I am usually in bed by 1AM. But the problem with that is I am so wired by the end of the night that I am not asleep till usually 3. My favorite days are the ones where I have to work "doubles" a day shift at one job than the night shift at the other.

Well I am going to be an aunt, my older sister Amy and her husband are having a baby in January. I am so excited I can not wait until the baby is born. I am goign to see if I can get sometime off from work in January to go to Ohio and see the baby after it is born.

Well next month my mom is having surgery in the middle of the month, it is nothing serious but it still worries me cause it is my mom. She is going to need 4 to 6 weeks of recovery. But knowing my mom she will be up moving around before she is supposed to be and than I am going to have to yell at her.

OMG if you have not seen it go see Harry Potter and the half blood prince, I saw 3x's already it is so good, it is the best one so far and it is hilarious. Well ther has been a lot of movies that are crap that have been coming out no shock there. So I have been renting shows from work and I really like The Tudors, True Blood, and now Mad Men. I can't wait for Dexter season 3 next month that comes out I am so excited. It is a great show.

That is all for now, I hoping soon to get my credit caught up so that I can go and find an apartment on my own and move out.

Oh what do I leave you with I think I will leave you lyrics to the song 'Man in the Mirror' by the late great Micheal Jackson. Here is my tribute to the man who man call the greatest entertainer ever, he was awesome. He was definately the tripple threat and I enjoy his music, to bad he will not be making anymore. The reason i picked this song is beacause it is my favorite Micheal Jackson song.

I'm Gonna Make A Change,
For Once In My Life
It's Gonna Feel Real Good,
Gonna Make A Difference
Gonna Make It Right . . .

As I, Turn Up The Collar On My
Favourite Winter Coat
This Wind Is Blowin' My Mind
I See The Kids In The Street,
With Not Enough To Eat
Who Am I, To Be Blind?
Pretending Not To See
Their Needs
A Summer's Disregard,
A Broken Bottle Top
And A One Man's Soul
They Follow Each Other On
The Wind Ya' Know
'Cause They Got Nowhere
To Go
That's Why I Want You To
Know

I'm Starting With The Man In
The Mirror
I'm Asking Him To Change
His Ways
And No Message Could Have
Been Any Clearer
If You Wanna Make The World
A Better Place
(If You Wanna Make The
World A Better Place)
Take A Look At Yourself, And
Then Make A Change
(Take A Look At Yourself, And
Then Make A Change)
(Na Na Na, Na Na Na, Na Na,
Na Nah)

I've Been A Victim Of A Selfish
Kind Of Love
It's Time That I Realize
That There Are Some With No
Home, Not A Nickel To Loan
Could It Be Really Me,
Pretending That They're Not
Alone?

A Willow Deeply Scarred,
Somebody's Broken Heart
And A Washed-Out Dream
(Washed-Out Dream)
They Follow The Pattern Of
The Wind, Ya' See
Cause They Got No Place
To Be
That's Why I'm Starting With
Me
(Starting With Me!)

I'm Starting With The Man In
The Mirror
(Ooh!)
I'm Asking Him To Change
His Ways
(Ooh!)
And No Message Could Have
Been Any Clearer
If You Wanna Make The World
A Better Place
(If You Wanna Make The
World A Better Place)
Take A Look At Yourself And
Then Make A Change
(Take A Look At Yourself And
Then Make A Change)

I'm Starting With The Man In
The Mirror
(Ooh!)
I'm Asking Him To Change His
Ways
(Change His Ways-Ooh!)
And No Message Could've
Been Any Clearer
If You Wanna Make The World
A Better Place
(If You Wanna Make The
World A Better Place)
Take A Look At Yourself And
Then Make That . . .
(Take A Look At Yourself And
Then Make That . . .)
Change!

I'm Starting With The Man In
The Mirror,
(Man In The Mirror-Oh
Yeah!)
I'm Asking Him To Change
His Ways
(Better Change!)
No Message Could Have
Been Any Clearer
(If You Wanna Make The
World A Better Place)
(Take A Look At Yourself And
Then Make The Change)
(You Gotta Get It Right, While
You Got The Time)
('Cause When You Close Your
Heart)
You Can't Close Your . . .Your
Mind!
(Then You Close Your . . .
Mind!)
That Man, That Man, That
Man, That Man
With That Man In The Mirror
(Man In The Mirror, Oh Yeah!)
That Man, That Man, That Man
I'm Asking Him To Change
His Ways
(Better Change!)
You Know . . .That Man
No Message Could Have
Been Any Clearer
If You Wanna Make The World
A Better Place
(If You Wanna Make The
World A Better Place)
Take A Look At Yourself And
Then Make A Change
(Take A Look At Yourself And
Then Make A Change)
Hoo! Hoo! Hoo! Hoo! Hoo!
Na Na Na, Na Na Na, Na Na,
Na Nah
(Oh Yeah!)
Gonna Feel Real Good Now!
Yeah Yeah! Yeah Yeah!
Yeah Yeah!
Na Na Na, Na Na Na, Na Na,
Na Nah
(Ooooh . . .)
Oh No, No No . . .
I'm Gonna Make A Change
It's Gonna Feel Real Good!
Come On!
(Change . . .)
Just Lift Yourself
You Know
You've Got To Stop It.
Yourself!
(Yeah!-Make That Change!)
I've Got To Make That Change,
Today!
Hoo!
(Man In The Mirror)
You Got To
You Got To Not Let Yourself . . .
Brother . . .
Hoo!
(Yeah!-Make That Change!)
You Know-I've Got To Get
That Man, That Man . . .
(Man In The Mirror)
You've Got To
You've Got To Move! Come
On! Come On!
You Got To . . .
Stand Up! Stand Up!
Stand Up!
(Yeah-Make That Change)
Stand Up And Lift
Yourself, Now!
(Man In The Mirror)
Hoo! Hoo! Hoo!
Aaow!
(Yeah-Make That Change)
Gonna Make That Change . . .

Well off to dreamland hopefully I have some good ones tonight. Kristi Hun I am kepping you in my thoughts and prayers. Lots of love and Huges *huggles*
Highland Lilacs

Oh what a life I lead

Well this is better, I am actually posting within a desent amount of time of the last post. Ok so here is the latest from my end of this crazy insane thing known as the world.

Sean and Eric are coming home around my birthday, I am so excited that my guys will be home even if it is only for 2 short days than they leave to go to Washington DC. I am so counting down the days until they will be here. I know I shouldn't think about it but I love and miss them so much that just knowing that they are going to be home is putting a huge smile on my face everyday.

Also Ashley and James(Ashley's fiancee) are coming home around Memorial day I can't wait I miss them so much to. I am trying to get a hold of my sister so that I know how long they will be here for so that I can take the time off from work, to spend a good amount of time with them. Not just this hey I will see you a for a couple of hours than leave to go to work thing.

I also found out that my Uncle has stage 5 prostate cancer, lovely huh. I am so scared for him and his family. He went in for surgery, they found that he stage one, than when well he was healing (which he still is), and the doctors (no not that doctor although I wish cause I would go talk to him myself); they found the stage 5 stuff. Anywho, I am praying for him and I don't pray.

What else is going on. Oh yeah it is new movie recommendation time. We all know that I am not going to recommend shit films. I have seen some good stuff lately. Like Doubt (great movie the whole cast was nominated for an Oscar), Changeling, Let the Right One In, Flash of Genius. Ok not going to much depth but I recommend these films and Alphabet Killer that entire film was shot here in Rochester. I get so mad sometimes cause there are all these films being shot here and I never find out about them until it is to late. I would totally join the crews of these films. AHHHHHH it is just so frustrating, I have the skills and knowledge and yet they are not being used.

I am so counting down the days to Harry Potter: and the Half Blood Prince, a little over 3 months, that is so my b-day present to myself I know that it will be about a month after my b-day but I so don't care I want to see it. I am have seen all the other ones on the big screen can't stop now. No to the new Trek that I think opened today.

My favorite thing in all of rochester is coming this month The Lilac Festival, in Highland park with all the Lilacs.

This is a pic of some of Lilacs we have in Highland they were taken last year.

Well that is all for now *huggles* to everyone. I leave you now with a favorite Spock quote, it comes from Star Trek 2: Wrath of Khan (great trek film by the way). He says this as he is dying.

"The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few...or the one."

FACT OR FICTION
Infamous Movie Urban Legends
by Jonathan Crow    April 23rd, 2009
The unbelievable scale and complexity of movie productions, not to mention the unparalleled egos of the people who make them, make Tinseltown a veritable factory for gossip. While some tidbits pop up in tabloids and are quickly dismissed, others develop into full-fledged urban legends. Here's a list of some of the most enduring of these tales, along with a little research -- with thanks to snopes.com and other sources -- to separate the rumors from reality.

Movie: The Wizard of Oz
Claim: A lovelorn munchkin's suicide was captured on film.
Verdict: FALSE

There are few movies out there that have more urban legends connected to it than "The Wizard of Oz." And while some are partially true -- it does actually synch up in some freakish ways with Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" (start your CD when the MGM lion roars for the third time) -- others, like the dead munchkin tale, are not.
The scene in question is when Dorothy and Scarecrow discover the Tin Man. It ends with all three dancing off into the distance along the yellow-brick road as the camera cranes up. If you watch closely, you can see some kind of odd motion behind a tree at the center of the screen. Some have it that it's a hiding stage hand who didn't hear the director shout "action" until it was too late. More active imaginations have it that it's a suicidal actor who played a munchkin kicking a ladder out from under him.
Leaving aside the absurdity that footage of a suicide would make it past the editors who labor over every frame of a movie before it's released, the truth is that movement the background is actually a stork or a crane. In order to help add some atmosphere to the indoor set, a number of exotic birds were lent to the production by the L.A. Zoo and were allowed to roam free. That strange flutter is one crane stretching its wing at an inopportune moment.

Movie: Back to the Future Part II
Claim: The hoverboards actually worked.
Verdict: FALSE

"Back to the Future II" might not have been the best movie of the BTTF franchise, but it did have one of its most memorable scenes: Marty McFly escaping a gang of bullies on one of those way cool hoverboards. Soon after the movie came out, rumors spread that these hoverboards were in fact real and that they'd soon be available in stores. Other rumors claimed that Mattel had a warehouse full of the boards but were sitting on them because parents' groups were concerned about safety. And even another rumor had it that a Mattel employee died a gruesome death testing one, causing the toy company to shelf the product. Director Robert Zemeckis added fuel to this urban legend by claiming in the "making of" documentary that "hoverboards have been around for years."
It turns out that the hoverboard scene was the result of Hollywood special effects, not some new, totally awesome technology. The actors were suspended on wires that were removed digitally (this was one of the first movies to use the now-common technique). The boards were then attached to the actors' feet, so they were holding up the hoverboards, not the other way around. Zemeckis got tired of answering questions about how the effect was achieved that he just started lying and claiming they were real. To this day Mattel swears up and down that they don't have piles of the boards gathering dust.

Movie: Three Men and a Baby
Claim: The ghost of a dead boy is visible in the background of one scene.
Verdict: FALSE

The notorious "ghost boy" in this film appears in scene where Jack Holden (Ted Danson) is talking to his mother. For the past twenty years, this image of what appears to be a human figure looming between the curtains has been freaking out viewers. Rumor has it that the figure was the ghost of a nine-year old who died -- either from a shotgun to the head or from jumping out the window -- in the New York apartment where they filmed the movie.
In fact, "Three Men and a Baby" was shot on a soundstage in Toronto; no actual residential locations were ever used for the production. The figure itself was a cardboard cut-out of Ted Danson, which was supposed to be a part of his character's job as a product spokesman. Though much of that storyline ended up on the editor's floor, the cut-out remained and a legend was born.

Movie: Goldfinger
Claim: An actress died from being painted gold.
Verdict: FALSE

Back in the '60s, it was widely believed that you can breathe through your skin. If you cover your skin with something like paint, the theory went, you could die of asphyxiation. James Bond explained as much when Goldfinger's ex-secretary Jill Masterson wound up dead, in his bed, and covered in gold. Science has since proved this theory to be bunk; you breathe through your nose and mouth, not your skin. Though Jill Masterson still could have died from getting the head-to-toe Goldfinger treatment -- her body would have overheated since it has no place to sweat -- it wouldn't have been from asphyxiation.
This belief no doubt fueled the rumor that the actress who played Jill Masterson, Shirley Eaton, died from all that gold paint. Though a pair of doctors was on set just in case something went wrong, Eaton not only survived the shoot, she is, as of this writing, alive and well in her native England and a grandmother of five.

Movie: Ben-Hur
Claim: A stuntman's death ended up in the final cut of the famed chariot race.
Verdict: FALSE

The chariot race in William Wyler's 1959 epic "Ben Hur" is one of the most spectacle action sequences ever shot, easily holding its own against later day CG-laden sagas like "The Lord of the Rings." Based partially on the strength of this scene, the film nabbed a record-breaking eleven Oscars. The race took three months to finish and required eighteen chariots and 8,000 extras. It also featured some of the most gruesome on-screen death scenes up to that point in movies. So it's not too surprising that people started to confuse movie magic with real-life fatalities.
William Wyler, Charlton Heston, and stunt coordinator Yakima Canutt have all stated on the record that no one was seriously injured in that scene. The crew managed to make those on-screen deaths, particularly that of Ben Hur's rival Mesalla, look so shockingly real through a clever use of dummies and top-drawer editing. The only stunt that came close to resulting in serious injury happened when Ben Hur was tossed from his chariot. Heston's stunt double Joe Canutt, Yakima's son, got an ugly cut on his chin that required a few stitches, but it was hardly fatal.

Movie: Casablanca
Claim: Ronald Reagan was originally slated to play Rick Blaine.
Verdict: FALSE

Humphey Bogart's turn as Rick Blaine in "Casablanca" made his career, launching him into the pantheon of cinema icons. Yet urban legend has it that future-president Ronald Reagan almost got tapped for the part. It's a great story, but it's not true. Reagan was never considered for the role.
On December 27, 1941, producer Hal Wallis bought the rights to the unproduced play "Everyone Comes to Rick's." Two weeks later, before the screenplay had even been started, a press release hit "The Hollywood Reporter" stating that Reagan and Ann Sheridan were going to co-star in "Casablanca." This was most likely a planted item from Warner Bros.' PR department, a common practice back then to keep studio actors in the spotlight.
The truth was this: Hal Wallis was an independent producer who agreed to make movies for Jack Warner; his contract stipulated that he was under no obligation to take casting cues from the studio. In fact, the studio was required to make its stable of actors available to him. Though Jack Warner did ask Wallis to cast George Raft, Wallis refused. The producer always had Bogart in mind to play Rick.

Movie: The Madness of King George
Claim: The original title, "The Madness of George III," was changed because Americans thought it was a sequel.
Verdict: FALSE

The 1991 play "The Madness of George III" dramatized the strange behavior of the British monarch who supposedly lost his mind after losing the American colonies. When it was adapted into a 1995 film, rumor had it that distributors changed the title for the American release to "The Madness of King George" so that confused Yanks wouldn't think they had missed "The Madness of George" parts I and II.
In fact, the "The Madness of King George" was the title for the movie worldwide, even in the UK. It's true the filmmakers did change original play's name. Reportedly, this was because they were keen to get the word "King" into the title for cultural reasons; while Brits immediately recognize that George III was a monarch, while Americans -- a people without a history of royalty -- might not.

Movie: For Your Eyes Only
Claim: One of the Bond girls used to be dude.
Verdict: TRUE

This 1981 Bond flick, the twelfth starring Roger Moore, had its usual quotient of explosions and scantily clad women. One of these ladies, however, garnered a lot more attention than usual when British tabloid "News of the World" came out with a front page headline reading: "James Bond Girl Was a Boy."
Caroline Cossey was born Barry Cossey in rural England in 1954. At the age of seventeen, he started taking hormones and two years later, he went the full nine yards and had sex reassignment surgery. The doctors apparently did a bang-up job because Caroline, working under the stage name of Tula, soon found work as a model and as an actress. Caroline's role in "For Your Eyes Only" was quite small; she's listed as "Girl at Pool," a credit shared by eight other women.
After the tabloid outing, an experience that devastated her, she went on to appear in Playboy and publish a couple autobiographies. She is currently married and living in Georgia

It has been along time

I see that it has been about 4 weeks since I last posted and I truly apologize, but I have been working like a crazy person. If I am not at Blockbuster than I am at Heritage. My days usually start that I go in to BB at either 9 or 10 and work till 3 than I go to Heritage at 4 and work till midnight. I don't go home in between it is pointless. So I am sorry but I will try to get better I mean I can't promise a post everyday but at least a couple a week.

Well where to start, I am like a lot of the world and got addicted to Twilight. I saw the movie and loved it, than I read the book 10x's better, I got through the book in 5 days. I have read a book so fast in my life. Than I read New Moon (the second in the series), same thing with that. I am trying to start Eclipse the 3rd book in the series but it has been hard, cause by the time I get home and take a bath and go to bed I am so tired. But I will get through it. Someone at one of my job told me what happens in the end so I know, but I can't wait to read it. So I told them the end of Harry Potter it is only fair. LOL

Well last week someone came to visit our neighbor that lives across the street and my car was parked on the road and they backed into it. Well $840 and one scary rental I got my car back on Friday. I didn't pay one dime out to fix my car *smiles*. It took 3 days for NuLook to fix my car and Enterprise (no not that one although I wish, one can dream right). Hi Data, and Jean Luc, anywho back on track. They gave me a Chevy Malibu that thing is scary, I mean it is a lot bigger than my baby. I drive a Colbalt. The Malibu had no power behind it, at least I didn't think so. You know how when you drive on the expressway and are going like 60 miles and hour and you feel like you are flying. In the Malibu I didn't feel that. Also it is wider and longer than my Colbalt, and I am like OMG I like how do I back up with out hitting anything. Also everything in it is power my car no power so that was interesting. Please make sure that I never ever buy one of those.

Well the new Star Trek movie opens next week, I the huge Star Trek have no interest in seeing it. Why you ask: 1) After watching the trailers there are to many mistakes that I noticed for a small 2-5 ad. 2) No one involved expect for like 2 people knew anything about Trek, Leonard Nimoy I mean come on the original Spock, and the guy that plays the young McCoy (he is apparently a fan). I was talking to someone at BB about the film and I was trying to explain that the movie looks like it destroyed everything Gene Roddenberry created 43 years ago. I was trying to explain that there is so much back story. It was interesting cause the guy is not a trek fan and he was like what back story this is a prequel. I was like true but prequel leads to ALL THE STORIES FROM THE 60'S WHICH THAN LEADS TO THE MOVIES; WHICH IN TURNS TAKES YOU TO TNG, DS9, VOYAGER ETC. I am so worried that all these non-trek fans are going to go to the movie and like it and than become fans, and not know anything about anything in the Star Trek Universe. Altough at the same time there will be more fans go us. 3) It was directed by a guy who admits to the fact that he is not a trek fan. Hello what is matter with Paramount you LET TREK FANS DO THE MOVIES DUH I COULD HAVE TOLD YOU THAT ONE.

I am looking forward to the most recent Dr. who that Jac sent me I can't wait to watch it. I can't believe that Tennnant is almost done being the doctor. *frowns*.

Well I think that is all for now, I am going to leave you with the lyrics from one of my favorite songs. Air Supply's 'Making Love Outta Nothing At All'. This is one of those songs that I could listen to over and over again and not get bored with it. I couldn't find the exact meaning of it, but to me it means--this guy is able to do all these things but he can't do what the woman he love does. Which is that she can find love in any situation.
So here is to a great song. Don't ask me why I love this song it just do.

Making love out of nothing at all

MUSIC: Jim Steinman - LYRICS: Jim Steinman
I know just how to whisper
And I know just how to cry
I know just where to find the answers
And I know just how to lie
I know just how to fake it
And I know just how to scheme
I know just when to face the truth
And I know just when to dream
And I know just where to touch you
And I know just what to choose
I know just when to pull you closer
And I know when to let you loose
And I know the night is fading
And I know the time's gonna fly
And I'm never gonna tell you everything I gotta tell you
But I know I gotta give it a try
And I know the roads to riches
And I know the ways to fame
I know all the rules and then I know how to break 'em
And i always know the name of the game
But I don't know how to leave you
And I'll never let you fall
And I don't know how you do it
Making love out of nothing at all (making love)
Outta' nothing at all (making love)
Outta' nothing at all (making love)
Outta' nothing at all (making love)
Outta' nothing at all (making love)
Outta' nothing at all (making love)
Outta' nothing at all
Every time I see you
While the rays of the sun are streaming through the waves in your hair
And every star in the sky is taking aim at your eyes like a spotlight
The beating of my heart is a drum and it's lost
And it's looking for a rhythm like you
You can take the darkness from the pit of the night
And turn it to a beacon burning endlessly bright
(I gotta follow it)
'Cause everything I know is nothing 'till I give it to you
I can make the run a stumble
I can make the final block
And I can make every tackle at the sound of the whistle
I can make all the stadiums rock
I can make tonight forever
Or I can make it disappear by the dawn
And I can make you every promise that has ever been made
And I can make all your demons be gone
But I'm never gonna make it without you
Do you really wanna see me crawl?
And I'm never gonna make it like you do
Makin' love out of nothing at all (making love)
Outta' nothing at all (making love)...

Quote of the day: This comes from Harry Potter (which I am so counting down the days till movie #6 the Half Blood Prince is out) (I have no claim to Harry Potter or it's characters I just love this quote).
"Courage in the face of the unknown is a very important quality in a wizard...Very important."
Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire pg 281.
PS: I am re-reading the Half Blood Prince now so when the movie comes out I will remember what happened.

I would love to go to school in London. I have decided to that I am also going to be going back into the theater, i miss being on stage and singing and acting. I am trying to make the most of my life.

Puppy is well he is so cute.

This was taken a couple of months ago how cute is my baby. Monster in a Cute suit as my mother calls him. OMG you have to see him when we watch Jeopardy. You know that section in the show during the final question when the contestants are wrting down their answers and you hear the theme song for about 30 seconds. No matter what Murphy is doing he turns around and stares at the TV. There has to be something in the song he loves it, it is the funniest thing. I have to record it on my phone one day.

Well that is all the latest I have for now, I hope all is well on the fronts. Huggles and Love to all.

Yesterday I was watching the Devil Wears Prada oh so good I love both Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway. It is hilarious and I highly recommend it.

Puppy and family are great. I am aching to go to school, if I had been able to get the money I would be in London right now, but that is something I plan to work on. I am off for now I have to get ready to go to work and earn another dollar that will be gone in about 5 seconds anyway.

Oh if you have not seen it I recommend seeing Mamma Mia. This is going to be my new thing now rather than quotes (unless you guys like them), I will recommend movies or TV shows that I think you guys should see. Mamma Mia was phenomial it is uplifting and happy, and hilarious, also the singing is really good, it is all ABBA Music. It is a great film I hope that you haven't seen it that you go out and rent it, and if you have that you love it.

(no subject)

Hi all it has been awhile and I am sorry, but being at Jackie the last couple of days has made go I should go back and repost. How has everyone been? I have been insane but what else is new. I have taken on two jobs now, I am now working at Blockbuster along with children. Although I have to admit having a break from children for two weeks is nice. If you don't know I am now working with special ed children, and I have the scars (literally) to prove it. I am so not missing them right now I needed a break. I am not getting kicked, hit, bit, spit on, or getting yelled by the teacher. I am going back on Sept. 2, that is when school starts again.

I had an awesome two days with Jackie, go I wished I lived nearby, we would be having so much fun all the time. I got the see the end of the last series of WHO, OMG can Russell rip our hearts out anymore. At least there was a happy ending for Rose, rather than pull a Joss Wheden and kill her. God I hope happy stuff start happening to him lord knows he needs it.

I have become addicted and when I say addicted I mean addicted to 2007 version of Hairspray, it has clearly become one of my favorite movies of all time. It is so good and the music kicks butt, and I got to tell you people that I thought some of the people from the film
had no talent and could not sing boy was I proved wrong in this movie. Like Zac Efron, he needs to never do HIGH SCHOOL Musical shit ever again, he has an amazing voice and he can dance and act, OMG I was surprised. I think he is one of those teenager stars who if keeps doing what he is doing making all these movies that are not teeny boppers movies he will go far. OMG the Voice that Amanda Bynes has holy crap I went there is no way that is her, but guess what it is and I was like, hey why you not sung anymore stuff before now? And she is a good actress to, I just hope that route that no more teeny stuff for her, she to will go far. The girl that they picked to play the lead was an unknown and phemonial her name is Nikki Blonsky, I love her she is totally a triple threat. I could not believe the voice that James Marsden has OMG I was like ahh yes why are you not on broadway? John Travolta even as a woman he rocks you go John. There is a sequel in the works I am so looking forward to it, New Line the production house that released Hairspray was quoted as saying that they want to scoop as much of the cast that they can, yeah you better cause I and many other fans do not want a Grease 2 on our hands.

I am so looking forward to London when I get there I am going to defer my admission till January cause I am not going to in October. I got accepted to got to school over there, and yes I will be chasing Patrick Stewart. hehehe, definately.

Well I am leaving you with a quote from Hairspray: here is the scerenio-It takes place in 1962 and a girl named Tracy Turnblad, is a pleasently plump girl and along with her friends she goes for racial equality in Baltimore. Well here best friend Penny played by Amanda Bynes and one of her other friends Seaweed who is black and played by the incredible Elijah Kelley (OMG I didn't mention him above, shoot me-PHEM all I have to say). They enter into a relationship which back than was forbidden and they could been thrown in jail for it (I am not lying) it is marked in the history books. Well Queen Latifah is also in this movie (always loved her), she finds out about Penny and Seaweeds relationship I am not telling you how. But she says one of the best lines from not only the movie but from any movie.
This is her reaction:
"So this is love, well Love is a gift a lot of people forget that, so you two had brase yourselves for awhole a lot of ugly coming at you from a never ending parade of stupid." LMAO just thinking about it.

*Huggles* for now

Film Stuff

Oh where do I begin. I am sick and tired of hearing people tell Jackie that the only reason that she watches Doctor Who is because she thinks David Tennant is hot. Just for the record she has admitted that yes she thinks he is hot and I freely admit it to, but people this is a girl who like me studied FILM in school. Ok she has a Master's Degree in Film, and also like me she grew up watching classic Film and good television so my suggestion is to back the f-off. She knows good quality television when she sees it. I do to, ok here is the low down; I went to 2 schools and have 2 yes two college degrees in film and television, I may not have Master's like Jac, but I do have an Associates and a Bachelor's degree. So we both know what we are talking about when it comes to good quality films and television. I to also grew up on classic film and I know quality film and television when I see it, but we will get more into that later.

I like Jac have been watching Sci-Fi since I was a little girl and I can honestly say in my opinion that it is the best damn GENRE out there. The time of great Sci-Fi/Fantasy television era is gone, expect for the current Who of course. What I mean is that in the 80's and early 90's all the great Sci-Fi show where on: Star Trek the Next Generation (ok my favorite sci-fi show of all time, I watched it cause it was good not because anyone was hot); Quantom Leap ahh yeah all I need to say lets go Dr. Beckett-hello Scott Backula altogether not bad to look at but still loved it; Lois and Clark: the New Adventures of Superman (yes I do think Dean Cain is hot and I did when the show was on-but again not why I watched it, yeah it was campy but it was a good camp and hey it was Superman); Seaquest DSV-Ok I admit it I had a huge crush on the late Jonathan Brandis-but again I liked the show that is why I watched not because I had a thing for JB. There is also Buffy and Angel-OK David Borenanz what more needs to be said yum-but I like the shows and watched them NOT BECAUSE HE IS HOT. I love absolutly love The Greatest American Hero; here is that story it was on when I was really little so I really couldn't tell if someone was hot of not (which by the way there isn't anyone), but according to my mom I used to drop everything and run to the TV the minute I heard the theme song (which I still know to this day and own by the way). I would also walk around the house at the age of 1, 2 and 3-cause that how old I was when the show was on singing the theme song. Yeah it is not the greatest Sci-Fi show in the world but you know what I love it, and now that I am older and know what I know about film and tv, I love it even more and you want campy that would be it, but all I have to say is if the shoe fits wear it. I am like hell yeah-I remember the one time I found it on TV one day well I was skipping channels (this was in college at UB) and I screamed so loud my roomate thought I was nuts. But guess what I am like oh yeah baby, give me my sci-fi.

So here is my point with that I to watch TV for the quality not because I think someone is hot-I think that guy on Smallville is quite Hot but I don't watch the show why because I think it stinks-it is not Superman. I love the show The Big Bang Theory-on CBS, OMG that show is so damn hilarious but I DO NOT find no one hot on that show and I still watch it why because I think it is funny.

I to think David Tennant is Hot and he is an amazing actor, there I said it but I to watch Dr. Who because it is good and the quality and pride that is put into that show is the reason that I watch it; also because I am partial to Sci-Fi. I watch it because I enjoy the show and the characters and the concept of the show. The recent incarnation of WHO is the best Sci-Fi show after the Next Generation (which for me will always be the best Sci-Fi show ever). So after all this big rant and rave I will say it again back off of Jackie and leave her alone she watches the show because it is good. I think that all the people who say that the only reason she watches the show is because she thinks David Tennant is Hot, really are in denial about themselves and why they watch-they find it easier to say that is she watches Dr. Who because that is why they watch. So it is easier to accuse others of something rather than admit it themselves.

Last night I watched with my family The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. That is Brad Pitt's latest movie, I really didn't like it. I think Brad Pitt is a great actor (Not attracted to him-I watch things with him in it because I think he can act). This was not one of his greatest performances, and Casey Affleck oh god let's not even get started on that. Eventhough I didn't like the film-I thought it was beautifully done. I am saying this from the standpoint of someone who has studied film and tv. I loved all the lighting OMG it was so beautiful. I loved all the shadows and the camera work was amazing. But again not so much impressed by the story I think it could been better.

My favorite film and I have said it time and time again is Gone With The Wind yes people omg a film from almost 70 years ago-shocking how dare I. No one was hot in the film no one makes me go he is so appealing (thank goodness cause they all expect for one person are dead). I love the story, I love how it is shot. There is a scene about halfway through the movie in which Scarlet has just returned to her childhood home to find it still standing after the Civil War-and she is starving for food so she finds a Radish in the ground that was planted; and of course eats it. Well to make a long story short-the lighting and the camera work are amazing, Viven Leigh (she played Scarlet) was in shadow and the camera zoomed out from up close not to close (I will not use the technical camera angle name as people would get confused); than they showed her whole body in shadow this is where she says this infamous line of "I will never go hungry again, as god is my witness I will never go hungry again" yes I did that from memory. I am blown away by the film, because of it's timeless beauty and the amazing story NOT BECAUSE I THINK CLARK GABLE IS HOT (I really don't think he was hot-I just used it as an example to make my point).

So if you have made it this far I applaud you cause this is a huge defensive rant for both Jac and myself and anyone else that is accused of watching something because they think that someone is hot. I am not apologizing for this at all I am very proud of what I wrote because I am passionate about good quality film and television and I have no problem saying it. So to all of you people who dare to come after me for this go ahead because I know the truth and what I love and none of you nimble minded idiots who probably can't see good quality work if it bit them in the ass, can kiss mine and like they say in weddings speak now or forever hold your piece.

I have decided to go with the a quote from TNG not surprising it is really good and I love I am choicing it because the writing was amazing the delivery was amazing by of course the incomperable Patrick Stewart (who I DO NOT THINK IS HOT), but I love anyway. This quote is from the episode Drumhead OH MY GOD hell yes Jean Luc I mean Patrick.

"With the first link, the chain is forged. The first speech censored, the first thought forbidden, the first freedom denied, chains us all irrevocably." -- Captain Picard, quoting Judge Aaron Satie (The Drumhead)

Hey all

Well what can be said for absent friends. I am sorry it has been awhile a lot went on. I am now at home I called in sick for the day cause I woke up this morning not feeling well like me. I was so tired I haven't been sleeping well for the last 4 days, it is like I go to bed at a desent time and than I would wake up at like 4AM and could not go back to sleep. Oh well that is me I guess.

I am so into DR. WHO now it is scary (Thanks Jac). I think right now it is the best Sci-Fi show on, I mean it is really good. Of course it doesn't beat ST:TNG and nothing ever will but I can it is the second best over all and the best CURRENTLY ON.

I am so ready for a change in my life, I mean a big change. I am not going to put myself down and bum myself out, because you know what I have always believed in FATE and that anything and I mean ANYTHING, can happen in your life. People prove it all the time.

I have no idea where this is coming from. All I know is that I do have to change my layout I think it is time and my pics to. Oh Well we shall see what happens. Ok I did it I changed my layout I still haven't figured out though how I change the information about me that is displayed on the page. If anybody knows please tell me. Thanks a ton.

Lots of love and huggles to all: And in quoting the great Celine Dion from the song that she sang at the opening ceremonies of the 199 Olympic games in Atlanta.

It is coming close

Well here I am almost to the point that I leave Florida. I sold my dresser yesterday. So all of my clothes are sitting on my floor right now not that it matters. I have to go through them and decide what I want and what I don't want. Than I have to figure what I am going to need for the next week and half and than the rest go in boxes to be sent home. I am going to Walmart tonight after work and getting tape and to see if I can find more boxes. I didn't ship anything home yet (no money) now that I nice big check from WINK I can send stuff home though the Post Office. I am hoping I can sell the rest of my stuff but if not I am donating it to Goodwill, hey tax write off always help. Tuesday I took all sheets and towels (that I am not using to the Humane Society for all the animals). I am getting rid of so much; I already like two boxes to go to Goodwill. If it is not important to me I am going bye bye to it. I can't take it all home.

My mom called me yesterday she told me that she found a coffee table and chairs that people were going to throw away, that I can have as tempary furniture for when I find my apartment. I have so much to do when I get back to NY. I have to find a place, I have to get a NY state driver's licence again, I have to register the car to NY, I have to see if I can cheaper insurance in NY to, I have to switch the phone number to Rochester.

I am so nervous about getting my own shows, I am so terrified I am screw up on them. If I do it will show on air. I know I am good at photography work hell I have known that forever, but producering I am not sure this is going to be a true test to me. God I hope I do well.

I am getting sick, my throat has been scratchy the last two days I am coughing, I got a headache and I am so stuffy; I sound wonderful to. I can not afford to be sick, so when I am at Walmart getting tape I will load up on the meds. I think a lot of it is because all the stress I am under, the fact that I am not getting enough sleep and the best part is the change in temp; it is cold when I get into work now.

Here is my tribute to one of the great Hollywood legends that passed away last week. Deborah Kerr the Scottish actress that is known for being in such classics as 'From here to Eternity', 'The King and I' (musical version) one of my fav's, and 'An Affair to Remember' with my boy Cary Grant. I loved Deborah Kerr. She is one of those actresses who 50 years from now we will still remember. October 16th, 2007 she passed on do to complications from Parkinson's diease.

Here are my quotes for the day I figured I would pay tribute to Miss Kerr; here is a quote from the King and I (with Yul Brenner) 1956.
King: Now, shall Mr. Lincoln be winning this war he is fighting at present?
Anna: No one knows really.
King: Well, does he have enough guns and elephants for transporting things?
Anna: I don't think they have elephants in America, your majesty.
King: No elephants? No wonder he is not winning war!

Here is a song from 'The King and I' by Rogers and Hamerstein, the song is also a tribute to her to.
[ANNA]

"[Spoken] It's a very ancient saying,
But a true and honest thought,
That if you become a teacher,
By your pupils you'll be taught.

[Singing] As a teacher I've been learning --
You'll forgive me if I boast --
And I've now become an expert,
On the subject I like most.

[Spoken] Getting to know you.

[Singing] Getting to know you,
Getting to know all about you.
Getting to like you,
Getting to hope you like me.

Getting to know you,
Putting it my way,
But nicely,
You are precisely,
My cup of tea.

[ANNA AND THE MOTHERS]

Getting to know you,
Getting to know all about you.
Getting to like you,
Getting to hope you like me.

Getting to know you,
Putting it my way,
But nicely,
You are precisely,

[ANNA]

My cup of tea.

[ALL]

Getting to know you,
Getting to feel free and easy
When I am with you,
Getting to know what to say

Haven't you noticed
Suddenly I'm bright and breezy?
Because of all the beautiful and new
Things I'm learning about you
Day by day.

Getting to know you,
Getting to feel free and easy
When I am with you,
Getting to know what to say

Haven't you noticed
Suddenly I'm bright and breezy?
Because of all the beautiful and new
Things I'm learning about you
Day .. by ... day."

Well that is it for now I hope all is well and lots of love and hugs

OK THE INFO IS OUT...Job details.

THANKS HOBBIT (JACKIE) FOR ANNOUCNCING THAT I AM COMING HOME. I am so looking forward to the new job. It is official I have it. Here's how it played out, I found it on the site of my favorite station in Rochester, (it is the one that I grew up watching). I applied to the postion not thinking I was going to get a response back, cause let's be honest most of the jobs that I applied to Nada nothing. So when they called I was shocked. So after a 20 minute phone interview I was told by the News Director that the next time I was in town to call them cause they wanted to talk in person. Well the next time I was coming home was x-mas and let's be honest I was not going to wait that long. So I went home at the beginning of the month and interviewed, that was awesome. So about a week later the News Director called me and offered the position, I know my salary and I will have full benefits. But what I was waiting on was the job getting approval, see the station is in the middle of a sale and the news director had to go to higher ups and tell them he found someone he wants to bring them on and will they approve it. Well they did, I have to call my news director and tell him that I am looking to start Nov.12th. He is working around my schedule. Not the other way around. Also as Jac said I will have two shows the 6 and 11 on the weekends the rest of the week I will be working with other producers on their shows. Here is the best part this job has been posted since JULY, but as I was told by the bosses down here producers are so hard to find cause everyone wants to be ON AIR.

Man it is going to be fun around here for the next couple of weeks I am trying to sell all my stuff, cause everything that I am bringing home is stuff that will fit in the car. Oh I am going to be so happy. I will have a social life again, I will not have to worry about sweating my ass of all the time I will not be disgusted by the heat. I will actually get to see the leaves change color (Fall is my favorite Season). I will be home for ALL the HOLIDAYS. I am 5 hrs from Jac, about and hour from Kristie aka ladyofshadow (you know we are so getting together again now that I am coming Home). I am an Hour from Jen (by flight) 8hrs by car, no more than 5 from sisters in OHIO. I mean duh, OMG I GET A GORCERY STORE AGAIN, HOLY CRAP. HELLO WEGMANS OH HOW I LOVE THEE.

So much to do when I get home. I just hope Brian can get down here like he said, cause I really don't want to do this by myself again.

I am so excited, I am so counting down the days till I am back where I belong, and I can go and see Jac; we are so going to Hair of The Dog. Hell I am 5 hrs away now. I wish I knew where I was going on the way home cause I could make a tiny detour and stop by to see her the way back to Rochester. OMG we would both love that.

Here is a song I know that I have used before but Michael Buble says it best. In his songs 'Home' and 'Coming Home Baby', I am aware that I have used them before but hey if the shoe fits wear it.
Here are the lyrics to his song 'Home'
Another summer day
has come and gone away
In Paris or Rome...
but I wanna go home
...uhm Home
may be surrounded by
a million people I
still feel all alone
just wanna go home
I miss you, you know

And I've been keeping all the letters
that I wrote to you,
Each one a line or two
I'm fine baby, how are you?
I would send them but I know that it's just not enough
My words were cold and flat
And you deserve more than that

Another aeroplane, another sunny place,
I'm lucky I know
but I wanna go home
I got to go home

Let me go home

I'm just too far from where you are
I wanna come home

And I feel just like I'm living
someone else's life
It's like I just stepped outside
when everything was going right
And I know just why you could not come along with me
This was not your dream
but you always believed in me...

Another winter day
Has come and gone away
in either Paris or Rome
and I wanna go home
Let me go home

And I'm surrounded by
A million people I
still feel alone
Let me go home
I miss you , you know

Let me go home
I've had my run
baby I'm done
I gotta go home

Let me go home
it'll all be alright
I'll be home tonight
I'm coming back home"

MICHAEL BUBLE LYRICS

"Comin' Home Baby"
(feat. Boyz II Men)

(Comin' home to you)
I'm coming home, baby
(To you)
I'm coming home, baby

(Do-do-do)
I'm coming home, baby, now
(Do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do)
I'm coming home now, right away
(Do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do)
I'm coming home, baby, now
(Do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do)
I'm sorry now I ever went away
(Do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do)
Every night & day I go insane

I'm coming home
(Come on home)
I'm coming home, baby, now
(You know I'm waiting here for you)

I'm coming home now real soon
(You've been gone)
I've been gone
(You don't know what I'm been going through)
I'm coming home well I'm overdue
(Since you went away)
Expect me any day now real soon

I'm coming home
(Come on home)
I'm coming home
(You know I'm praying every night)
And everything is going to be fine
(Please come home)
I'm coming home baby now
(I want to feel you hold me tight)
Expect to see me now at anytime
(When I'm in your arms)
When you're in my arms I'll be fine

I'm coming home now
I'm coming home right away
I'm coming home now
I'm sorry I went away
Every night & day I miss you

(Come on home)
I'm coming home, baby, now
(You know I'm praying every night)
Can't hold me back now
(Please come home)
I'm pressing on baby now
(I want to feel you hold me tight)
I want to feel you hold me tight
(When I'm in your arms)
When I'm in your arms I'll be fine
(Come one home)
I'm coming home
(You Know I'm counting every day)
I'm coming home now
(You're so far)
The road is warm now
(Baby let me hear you say)
Let me hear you say
(That you're coming home)
That I never will go away
I'm here to stay

(You know I'm waiting here for you)
I'm coming home
(You don't know what I'm going through)
You don't know what I'm going through
(You know I'm waiting here for you)
Waiting here for you
Come on home
(You don't know what I'm going through)
(I'm waiting here for you)
I'm coming home
(You don't know what I'm going through)
